Worlds Smallest Horse
Worlds Smallest Horse:
Burleson Arabians is the proud owner of Black Beauty, the World's Smallest Horse as officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records in 2001.
Black Beauty is listed in Guinness World Records as the World's Smallest Horse as of September 2001.
Black Beauty was born June 6, 1996 as was an astonishing dwarf miniature horse from birth. Too small to nurse from her mother, her mother would lie down to feed her. At birth it was apparent that she was the world's smallest living horse and possibly the smallest horse in the world that ever lived. She was less than 12 inches tall at birth, weighing less than 10 pounds. She was small enough to fit into a coat pocket.

Black Beauty is exceptionally friendly and always knickers to say hello. She also likes to come into the house and enjoys watching television (Westerns are her favorite) and sharing popcorn. She also enjoys sitting in your lap and being rubbed.
To qualify as the world's smallest horse, Guinness Book of Records required that she be inspected by a Vet and be carefully measured for height by independent witnesses to confirm her status as the world's smallest horse.
Black Beauty is a dwarf miniature horse and at age five years-old currently measures on 18.5 inches tall (at her withers) and she is clearly the world's smallest horse, and the smallest horse in recorded history according to the Guinness Book of Records.
