Named the Worlds Biggest Dog in 2001

This distinction has brought both awe and criticism. First, that

these dogs get very big and Hercules was just that. Second were those that thought he was too big. We celebrate that Hercules was large and earned this distinction. We wish that he was kept more trim.

Well, here he is, after 5 years of soul searching. Please don't criticize us, I didn't do it. I'm just reporting the fact of his winning the award.

The competition goes on to search for rechord breakers, as it always will.

It is like the book of world records, there is always someone out there or happening that will eventually overtake the records. It is happening all the time, if it is not people always trying to break a record, then it is with the biggest or smallest.

When it comes to life, then we have to let nature take its course mainly, I don't agree that such animals should take the honor if their owners make them grossly fat because of overeating. Apart form this being wrong, it should be one the merits of the animal itself.

Whether through breeding or just plain design, the larger the animal naturally, shouldn't this be the rightful prize winner when it comes to these such records.
