Subject Study

This horse and big cat. This is where you are going to do our subject study, of the cat, dog, here is a varied degree of information here that you need to have a look at.

It is a good idea that you come back here, when you feel that you are needing inspiration, there is much to learn in the history of our literature, quotes, stories.  To videos, and the interpreting of cartoons, pictures and facts about these pets we are going to create our art from......

The more we learn about these  wonderful creatures, the more we will learn about their abilities to inspire us. The subject is impertinent to learn, not only when it comes to putting paint brush to canvas, or pen to paper. We need to learn our subjects, get inside their minds, try to imagine their world and how we want to interpret them in our art.

This study of subject matter is the building blocks to art. We must first learn our subject. It is no good to just say.... "well I want to paint a dog."

Were are you going to start? the subject matter all the time. The best artists learn to feel their work, in a way that they get in touch with their subjects. The way they move, stand, to name a few,  and only then will you put them on canvas, paper or sculpt them from clay or wax.
