What better way for me to show my followers some of the steps in an artists mind when starting an art piece.

Than actually showing and explaining to them some of my art works that I have done through the years and how they came to be.

Every artist starts with an idea or interest when another piece of their art work comes to be.

Or are asked to do a commission... of course.

Taking you through the steps of my art, and what motivated me, in general "How the art work came to be" the IDEA!

I guess you could call it "The insiders look at what the artist is thinking when a new artwork is in the works".

My artwork has taken may different forms and styles over the years, many things influence us, and it is this that changes our ideas and also styles.

Yes.... sometimes in an artists life we have to listen to the trends of what is popular and bend to public opinion. That's if you want to also sell your work.

My art spans the four corners of the globe, through many different cultures to global trends. But one thing an artist must always stand true to, if they feel that there is an art piece that you really don't feel comfortable in doing, don't do it!

I have always found it fascinating how other artists think, when they are ready to do another art piece.

So I am sure I am not alone here... its a journey and a great journey to share.

Work Horses: A bronze cast sculpture of a working plough horse in the fields, titled "Winter Winds".

Horse Frieze: this is a relief which I did as a wall art or tile format, The title of this relief is "Horse of the Pantheon".

Commission of a Dog Figurine: this was a sculpture I did for a gentleman of a family dog, it was a birthday present for his wife.

Bramly Lane Toadstools: I have only sculpted and designed these sets of three Fantasy Toadstools recently. As I like fantasy as much as the next, I wanted to do some toadstools for the garden as well as for in the home in your pot plants, a little bit different than most of the garden mushrooms for sale these days.
