Pet Art
Welcome to the
Realm of Pet Art!
If you are an artist; want to be an artist, or just love art.
This site will teach you how to draw, paint and sculpt in mainly
traditional style, of the following four main pets the
Dog, Cat,
Horse, and the exotic pet, the
Big Cat. If you collect or you are an art
lover, this site is going to take you into the artists world to
better understand them. The pet art that I am focusing on in this site,
are some of the most painted, sculpted and sketched pets of our society.
And I am going to teach you how to tap into your thoughts and
imagination to get the best out of your work as an artist or budding
artist.
I am also going to give you a glimpse into these pets history and
in-depth study of our four main subjects of this pet art, in order to know them better.
You may wonder why? it is better to know your subjects, in order to
portray them in your art. An artist must know their subject form, their
character, their history.
This understanding of them, prepares you to better portray them the
best you can. As every person is different, so is their outlook on their
own art. If a group of artists were to paint, draw or sculpt one subject
in a room, you will see that every piece of art will be different.
In the artists minds eye!
we are all individuals.
From professional and amateur alike, you never stop learning when it
comes to art. And anyone who say different, has not learnt the most
important fundamental thing in art, "you never stop learning".
"The beautiful is in nature, and it is encountered under the most diverse
forms of reality. Once it is found it belongs to art, or rather to the
artist who discovers it".-Gustave Courbet
The world of art is a fascinating and complex one. And I am sure
your journey on this site with this pet art is going to be very enlightening.
The Artist
I am going to teach you how to create art of the cat, dog, horse and
the exotic big cat. Tips and techniques that will make you a better
artist. I want to teach you how to think, use your imagination, the
psychology of the artist, which will in turn make you become a better
artist.
Developing different ways to stretch your imagination, as I know this
can be a big problem for some artists, in where to find inspiration. And
sort out your priorities and learn what different themes of your subjects
are best suited in different mediums of art.
The Art Lover
Or if you are just an art lover, I am going to take you into the world
of the artist, teach, and show you what it is like for an artist. How we
think, to the home work and study that an artist needs to go
through, in order to create our next finished piece of art work.
Which could be your next purchase, as an art collector, or just one who
loves to buy art.
Art is every where, we have all bought some piece of art at some time
in our lives, it is really a part of us, and the art we buy reflects our
personalities, and how we want to feel.
So you will better understand the work that has gone into your next
painting, drawing or sculpture. You will in turn re-appreciate your new
art work and better understand the artists thoughts and what inspires
them.
Welcome to the world of
art!
