..... I'm Andrea Balch

If we are not artists, be buy art. It is all around us and has been since man was painting it on the cave walls.

I am a professional artist, who has studied in many areas over the years, and been an artist all my life.

It was not something that I decided to do because I had an interest in it, it chose me. I guess you could say I am an artist born and bred.

Not a hippie, or over the top, you could call me a conservative artist. Not throwing my brushes up in the air and saying " I cant work in these conditions". Don't think so......

I  started young with all sorts of arts, from drawing to painting, it seemed what ever I tackled in the art world, I could do. So I know it was a gift and where I was destined to go with it. Only the imagination would decide.

I soon learned that I had a talent right from a child in sculpture, and was inspired with the bronze sculptures of the Western artists from buying a magazine "Western Horseman" when I was a child, this magazine had an art section in it and I still have most of the art sections torn out and kept to this day in a folder, it is always good to refer back to.

So people and animals are mainly my sort of sculptures in mainly the traditional form. Yet I do stray a little to the modern as situations change in what is required, as you have to remain flexible to the public.

Yet my true interest is in the traditional form, whether it be painting, drawing, sculpture. As a self taught sculptor, I set myself high goals, if I could not create a sculpture as good as the western bronze sculptures coming out of America. I would not pursue sculpture.

I was lucky however, it was as though I was already at a standard in sculpture, that I could compete with the professionals. And reading stories how other sculptors have worked hard to gain their skills in sculpture had inspired me. I knew I had a gift, and that others have to work at it.  Not saying that I have not had to work at improving my work. On the contrary, we all need to strive in working out what ways are best for each of us.

And I feel that art, whether we are creating it, to the stage we sell our work.  There is a great satisfaction in what we have achieved, and the look on our clients faces of joy at acquiring their new piece of art work, is immensely satisfying, that I know, I can make someone else happy in what I do.

I want to share with you what I have learnt and pass it on, I hope to share the enlightenment of what it is to be an artist. And to bring out your talents in ways that you might never have imagined. The complexity of an artist is deep, and I want to re-awaken this in your thoughts and actions, in a way that you may have never imagined before.

I love freedom, and doing my own thing, rarely ever get bored as there is just so much to do. I am Australian, yet have been spending  my time living between Australia and England for many years now.

So this makes it hard where work is concerned, never getting settled into a long career. And... I like my freedom; the thought of being stuck in a work situation of working for someone else has never been my overall plan.

Working for myself has always been my ultimate plan, and also falls into my lifestyle. And doing something you love, is the best sort of work I can think of, because you look forward to doing it. That's also where I went forward in finding the best all in one site building called SBI which stands for site build it.

I wanted to make a living out of something I loved, and here I am... tried before, in building a site, and that was not so successful, you know how it is.

I have spent allot of time reading and educating myself on the net and what it can do for you. Its just amazing how the internet has opened up all sorts of possibilities that one time there wasn't.

 I remember the days when there was no internet and finding connections in building a business was geographical. Its all changed, and building a site in your own time is also a plus. And I love getting up and doing something I love, and getting paid for it.

I'm going to introduce you to this wonderful site, as its given me all the tools and ongoing training that has given me the ability to have this site. You never know you may have an interest of your own to build on. We all have interests.....
